Sam Nieves (Non-binary, all pronouns) is a NYC based Latinx Chronically Ill & Disabled Performer, Producer, Director, & Cinematographer. Cofounded Reckless Theatrics (Fiscal sponsorship through fractured alas), started Reckless to play the roles we wanted to see represented in the industry and do our part to give access to other artists from various communities by facilitating a space for them to create their work. We have been creating original works & collaborating since 2018.

Trained Actor, studied at the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts, with an AOS in Acting on Camera for Film and Television in 2017 with an additional certificate in Theater Performance.

Passionate about creating accessible, trauma-informed consent-based work. Their process includes utilizing script analysis and love finding authentic moments for a character informed by the text, has a blended style that combines their training, artistic sense, and collaborative consent-based training into their work.
